So I just watched the 8th episode of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos and I need explanations for one particular information about light travel and relativity theory mentioned by Carl. He said that the star ‘Beta’ is 75 light years away from Earth and if it blew up two weeks ago, we won’t be able know it until 75 years in the future.
